The first solo photo collections by architecture photographer Takeshi Yamagishi.
Yamagishi has been taking photographs mainly in the Tohoku region, for the eight years following the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011. He records every aspect of the collisions between architecture as the edge of artificiality and various forces of nature, from immediately after the earthquake up through the ongoing "restoration."
The A4-size book contains some 200 ultra-high-resolution, finely processed photographs taken with 4x5 film, instead of digital. The collection of masterworks by photographer Takeshi Yamagishi--attracting attention in the architectural field--pioneers a new horizon of architectural photographs.
