Touring Exhibitions

Since opening the gallery, we ran more than four Touring Exhibitions in Tokyo (from 1981), Osaka (from 1984), and Nagoya (from 1988 to 2012) annually, exploring unique themes surrounding architecture and design.
A total of 180 Touring Exhibitions were held, starting with the initial exhibition “History of Bathing” to the final “House of Miracles – The Former Wanatabe Jinkichi House and Interior Design,” held from June to September 2020 (virtual exhibition on the official website only).
We also published LIXIL BOOKLETS with each exhibition, not only to serve as exhibition pamphlets but as independent publications sold in bookshops across Japan and online. (Until September 2022)
