【会期】2015年12月26日(土）〜2016年1月6日（水） ＊1月1日は休館 ※終了しています。 Tiles - A Single Specimen's Depth, a Myriad's Brilliance. 50年、100年のオーダーで時を刻みながら 生活文化を豊かに彩ってきた タイルの美しさに触れる11日間。  チラシ チラシはここから⇒ ■チラシ  PDF 666KB 企画：株式会社ＬＩＸＩＬ 協力：Ｂｕｎｋａｍｕｒａ 展示デザイン：ゼロ ファースト デザイン 古代文明の発祥の地からイスラーム、イベリア半島、地中海を経てヨーロッパへ。 古来、さまざまなタイルが人々の暮らしに寄り添い、生活文化を豊かに彩ってきました。 創り手の魂が込められ、土と炎と巧みの技によって生み出された、タイル一枚一枚には深い表情があり、 また、幾枚も連なり織りなす様も優美です。 絡み合う蔓草の文様は神秘的、直線が展開する幾何学のデザインは軽やかでリズミカル。 なかでも “ イタリアモダンデザインの父”、ジオ・ポンティ（1891-1979） がデザインしたタイルの展示では、 その組合せの多様さ、面白さを映像でも紹介します。 「世界のタイル博物館」が収蔵する7,000 点余りのコレクションと、これまでの企画展から選び抜いた装飾タイルの魅力を心ゆくまでお楽しみください。 From the cradle of ancient civilization to the Muslim world, through the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean, and onward into Europe… Tiles of all kinds have been present in everyday life since ancient times, and have added an abundance of color to our lifestyles and cultures. Filled with the soul of its maker, and born out of earth and fi re and masterful technique, each and every tile has its own depth of expression; and when large numbers of them are arranged together, truly elegant effects are achieved. Vines intertwining in mystical patterns, for instance, or straight lines that develop into lighthearted and rhythmical geometric designs. Among the many items on view, there is a display of tiles designed by Gio Ponti (1891 – 1979), the father of modern Italian design, which is supplemented by video animation to present the variety and appeal of their combinations. We hope you will enjoy to the fullest the charm of this selection of decorative tiles from our previous exhibitions and from Tile Museum, which has over seven thousand articles in its collection. 【展示タイル】
